Chinese true ginseng, sometimes called white ginseng, comes in whole root, ground, sliced, powdered and drops. Beware of counterfeit ginseng, know that it is not possible to buy 100 g of genuine ginseng for 20 euros. The minimum effective daily dose of ginseng is 300 mg, do not buy e.g. 90 tablets with a total of 600 mg of ginseng in a pack!
